It is an investigation of basic type, descriptive level and assumes the correlational design. The population and sample consisted of 212 members of the mentioned institution. The technique used was the survey and the instrument the structured questionnaire to measure both study variables that consisted of 35 items; with an amplitude of Likert scale (always, almost always, sometimes, almost never and never); The other measuring instrument consisted of 27 items, the instruments have been validated through expert judgment and have an adequate level of reliability: 0.870 and 0.858 respectively. To measure the correlation, the Pearson ratio coefficient was used, in which it is observed that there is a correlation of 0.752, with a significant relationship between the transformational leadership of the managers and the commitments of the teachers in the studied population. Therefore, it is concluded with a 95% confidence level that there is a significant relationship between both variables.La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de definir la relación que existe entre el liderazgo transformacional de los directivos con los compromisos de los docentes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Teniente Hugo Ortiz, Guayaquil-Ecuador. Es una investigación de tipo básica, nivel descriptivo y asume el diseño correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 212 miembros de la mencionada institución. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos el cuestionario estructurado para medir ambas variables de estudio que constó de 35 ítems; con una amplitud de escala de Likert (siempre, casi siempre, a veces, casi nunca y nunca); el otro instrumento de medición constó de 27 ítems, los instrumentos han sido validados mediante juicio de expertos y presentan un adecuado nivel de confiabilidad: 0,870 y 0,858 respectivamente. Para medir la correlación, se utilizó el coeficiente de relación de Pearson, en el que se observa que existe una correlación de 0.752, existiendo una relación significativa entre el liderazgo transformacional de los directivos con los compromisos de los docentes en la población estudiada.
