This aspect is analyzed in this research, whose objective was to explain the reasons why the commercialization of potatoes affects the economy of peasant families in the following provinces: Tayacaja (Huancavelica) and Huancayo (Junín). The research was of a basic type with a descriptive-explanatory level with a non-experimental-longitudinal design. The population was made up of 120 peasant families that produce and market potatoes from the provinces of Tayacaja and Huancayo, from which a sample of 91 families was drawn. Documentary analysis guides, bibliographic records and a questionnaire were used as instruments for the field work. It was found through the application of econometric models that 79% of the respondents accept that the sale price of the potato influences the economy of the peasant families of the provinces under study since it is very low and does not allow obtaining economic income and that the lack of storage of the potato to be commercialized affects the economy of the peasant families of these provinces because the product is lost and this generates economic damage

Este aspecto es analizado en esta investigación, cuyo objetivo se orientó a explicar los motivos por los que la comercialización de la papa afecta a la economía de las familias campesinas de las siguientes provincias: Tayacaja (Huancavelica) y, Huancayo (Junín). La investigación fue de tipo básico de nivel descriptivo-explicativo con diseño no experimental-longitudinal. La población estuvo conformada por 120 familias campesinas productoras y comercializadoras de papa de las provincias de Tayacaja y Huancayo de las que se extrajo una muestra de 91 familias. Para el trabajo de campo se utilizaron como instrumentos guías de análisis documental, fichas bibliográficas y un cuestionario. Se encontró a través de la aplicación de modelos econométricos que el 79% de los encuestados acepta que el precio de venta de la papa influye en la economía de las familias campesinas de las provincias en estudio dado que es muy bajo y no permite obtener ingresos económicos y que, la falta de almacenamiento de la papa a ser comercializada afecta la economía de las familias campesinas de estas provincias porque el producto se pierde y ello genera perjuicio económico.Há um problema latente no setor agrícola no cultivo da batata, pois nem sempre é lucrativo para os agricultores, pois seu preço de venda não depende apenas da quantidade de produto ofertada no mercado e da demanda dos consumidores, mas da possibilidade de eles próprios realizam a sua comercialização. Este aspecto é analisado nesta pesquisa, cujo objetivo foi explicar as razões pelas quais a comercialização da batata afeta a economia das famílias camponesas nas seguintes províncias: Tayacaja (Huancavelica) e Huancayo (Junín). A pesquisa foi de nível básico descritivo-explicativo com desenho não experimental-longitudinal. A população era composta por 120 famílias camponesas que produzem e comercializam batatas das províncias de Tayacaja e Huancayo, das quais se extraiu uma amostra de 91 famílias. Guias de análise documental, registros bibliográficos e questionário foram utilizados como instrumentos para o trabalho de campo.
