Sumario:The enforcement of Law No. 3231 (2007) and its Regulatory Decree No. 8234 (2011) in Paraguay presents significant challenges for Indigenous populations in developing education with linguistic relevance. This article aims to explore the linguistic documentation support available for the Northern Enlhet language to facilitate its teaching in schools. This is a qualitative, interpretative, and descriptive study, employing a case study design focused on educational institutions serving the Northern Enlhet Indigenous people. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, school administrators, area council members, and experts. The findings indicate that the Northern Enlhet people are engaged in discussions about the normative aspects of their language. Related to this, the educational support for the language is limited to a small number of specific printed teaching materials for early schooling years. In digital format, there are a few basic materials available, such as worksheets and audio recordings (podcasts), accompanied by teaching guides and oral narratives from elders in audio and audiovisual formats.
