| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is to show the current situation in which indigenous peoples live in Brazil. Also, it brings to the debate the condition in which the Guaraní Kaiowa live in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and their demands to demarcate their ancestral territories with society and the Brazilian State. The methodology used was built from the analysis of IBGE data, and mainly through participant observation and interviews, in relation to the struggles of the Guaraní and Kaiowá people. |
