A quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design was used, the sample was non-random of 52 students, belonging to the VI cycle of regular basic education at the secondary level. The sample was divided into a control and experimental group of 26 students. The Cultural Identity Scale pre-test was applied to both groups. The “Chabuca Granda in school program” was applied to the experimental group, which consisted of 12 sessions related to the work of the singer-songwriter while the control group did not undergo said program. At the end of the intervention, the same instrument was applied to both groups. The results showed a significant increase in the strengthening of the cultural identity of the students of the experimental group in the dimensions: customs, traditions, interculturality, way of life and appreciation of the work of Chabuca Granda. It is recommended to apply the educational program at other educational levels for the consolidation of cultural identity.

Se utilizo un enfoque cuantitativo de diseño cuasi experimental, la muestra fue no aleatoria de 52 estudiantes, pertenecientes del VI ciclo de educación básica regular del nivel secundaria. La muestra se dividió en un grupo control y experimental de 26 estudiantes. Se aplicó el pre test Escala de Identidad Cultural a ambos grupos.  Se aplico al grupo   experimental el “programa Chabuca Granda en la escuela, el cual consistió de 12 sesiones relacionadas con la obra de la cantautora mientras q el grupo control no se sometió a dicho programa. Al término de la intervención se les aplico el mismo instrumento a ambos grupos. Los resultados evidenciaron un incremento significativo en fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural de los estudiantes del grupo experimental en las dimensiones: costumbres, tradiciones, interculturalidad, modo de vida y valoración de la obra de Chabuca Granda. Se recomienda aplicar el programa educativo en otros niveles educativos para   el afianzamiento de la identidad cultural.O objetivo da pesquisa foi avaliar a eficácia do programa educacional "Chabuca Granda en la Escuela" no desenvolvimento da identidade cultural de adolescentes escolares do distrito de San Martín de Porras em Lima, Peru. Utilizou-se uma abordagem quantitativa de delineamento quase experimental, a amostra foi não aleatória de 52 alunos, pertencentes ao VI ciclo do ensino fundamental regular de nível médio. A amostra foi dividida em grupo controle e grupo experimental de 26 alunos. O pré-teste da Escala de Identidade Cultural foi aplicado a ambos os grupos. O “Chabuca Granda in school program” foi aplicado ao grupo experimental, que consistiu em 12 sessões relacionadas ao trabalho do cantor-compositor enquanto o grupo controle não realizou tal programa. Ao final da intervenção, o mesmo instrumento foi aplicado aos dois grupos. Os resultados mostraram um aumento significativo no fortalecimento da identidade cultural dos alunos do grupo experimental nas dimensões: costumes, tradições, interculturalidade, modo de vida e valorização da obra de Chabuca Granda.
