description At present, environmental requirements and the growth of environmental management systems, have generated a change of consciousness at an industrial level, leading this to satisfy the expectations of customers both in the quality of products or services, as well as in the ways environmentally friendly production facilities, the above added to environmental regulations, have generated a change in the production culture in which the enormous losses of raw materials that are discarded into the sewers must be recovered and reincorporated into the production process, resulting in in economic and environmental benefits. In the city of Pampas Tayacaja there is a very latent problem which is the lack of water treatment, which is why most of the population often uses contaminated water in their food thus causing some diseases. For this reason, in this present work an investigation will be proposed on the use of membranes that is certainly suitable today for water treatment. In general, the efficiency of a membrane depends of the composition of the liquid fluid to be treated, other related factors with its maintenance are hydraulic pressure and fouling what is as a result of research, the cleaning of the membranes is key for the issue of treatment costs and efficiency. In conclusion, the technology of the membranes improves water quality and its efficiency influences the maintenance costs.

In conclusion, the technology of the membranes improves water quality and its efficiency influences the maintenance costs.En la actualidad, los requerimientos ambientales y el crecimiento de los sistemas de gestión ambiental, han generado un cambio de conciencia a nivel industrial, llevando a satisfacer las expectativas de los clientes tanto en la calidad de los productos o servicios, como en las formas de producción amigables con el medio ambiente, lo anterior sumado a las regulaciones ambientales, han generado un cambio en la cultura de producción en la cual las pérdidas enormes de materias primas que se desechan a los alcantarillados deben ser recuperadas y reincorporadas al proceso productivo, redundando en beneficios económicos y ambientales. En la ciudad de Pampas Tayacaja existe un problema muy latente, el cual es la falta de tratamiento del agua, por lo que la mayoría de la población muchas veces utiliza el agua contaminada en sus alimentos, así produciendo algunas enfermedades. Por tal motivo, en este presente trabajo se planteará una investigación sobre el uso de membranas que ciertamente resulta adecuado en la actualidad para el tratamiento del agua.  En general, la eficiencia de una membrana depende de la composición del fluido líquido a tratar, otros factores relacionados con su mantenimiento son la presión hidráulica y ensuciamiento lo que es motivo de investigaciones, la limpieza de las membranas resulta clave por el tema de costos y eficiencia del tratamiento.
