In that way, we will see first which was the beginning of ethical skepticism in the history of Philosophy, and how was its development through three summits. In the last summit, we will examine the moral error theory of the famous skeptic of Twenty Century, John Leslie Mackie, whom Dworkin wants to oppose philosophically. Finally, we will show the decisive contribution of Ronald Dworkin to the Philosophy of Ethics: the utilization of Hume’s Law as refutation of ethical skepticism.En el presente texto se mostrará el debate sostenido por el filósofo norteamericano, Ronald Dworkin, contra lo que él llama escepticismo arquimédico, que es un tipo de escepticismo ético. De ese modo, veremos primero cuál fue el inicio del escepticismo ético en la historia de la filosofía, así como también cómo se fue desarrollando, a través de tres auges, hasta desembocar en la teoría del error moral del escéptico más conocido del siglo XX, y a quien Dworkin busca oponerse, John Leslie Mackie. Por último, señalaremos el aporte decisivo de Ronald Dworkin a la filosofía ética: la utilización de la ley de Hume como refutación del escepticismo ético.O presente texto mostrará o debate realizado pelo filósofo americano Ronald Dworkin contra o que ele chama de cepticismo arquimédico, que é um tipo de cepticismo ético. Desta forma, veremos primeiro o que foi o início do ceticismo ético na história da filosofia, bem como como ele se desenvolveu, através de três "boom", até acabar na teoria do erro moral do cético mais conhecido do século 20, e a quem Dworkin procura se opor, John Leslie Mackie.
