description For the present research work, the main objective was to evaluate the effect of pyrolenous acid and the optimal dose for the germination of watermelon, cocona and cacao seeds; the randomized complete design statistical model was used, the factors under study were: pyrolenous acid dose obtained from Bambú, Pisonay and Cético (1, 10, 100 ml) and seeds of the three mentioned species, we worked with 9 treatments and a control plus three repetitions, the variables were: germination percentage and dose. The results indicate significant effects of pyrolenous acid on germination, of cocona seeds, cacao with 96.70%, and 100%, however, there were negative effects for watermelon seeds. Likewise, the application of pyrolenous acid at a dose of 10 ml had the best results in the germination of cacao and cocona seeds with 97% and 90%. In conclusion, the application of pyrolenous acid at doses of 10 ml improved the germination process of the Cocona and Cacao seeds, however, at a high dose of 100 ml it inhibits germination, finally, the 1 ml dose does not show positive effects respectively.

In conclusion, the application of pyrolenous acid at doses of 10 ml improved the germination process of the Cocona and Cacao seeds, however, at a high dose of 100 ml it inhibits germination, finally, the 1 ml dose does not show positive effects respectively.Para el presente trabajo de investigación se planteó como objetivo principal evaluar el efecto del ácido piroleñoso y la dosis óptima para la germinación de semillas de sandía, cocona y cacao; se empleó el modelo estadístico diseño completo al azar, los factores en estudio fueron: dosis de ácido piroleñoso obtenido de Bambú, Pisonay y Cético (1, 10, 100 ml) y semillas de las tres especies mencionadas, se trabajó con 9 tratamientos y un testigo más tres repeticiones, las variables fueron: porcentaje de germinación y dosis. Los resultados señalan efectos significativos del ácido piroleñoso en la germinación, de semillas de cocona, cacao con 96.70%, y 100%, sin embargo, hubo efectos negativos para las semillas de sandía. Así mismo, la aplicación de ácido piroleñoso a dosis de 10 ml tuvo los mejores resultados en la germinación de semillas de cacao y cocona con 97% y 90%. En conclusión, la aplicación de ácido piroleñoso a dosis de 10 ml mejoró el proceso germinativo de las semillas Cocona y Cacao, sin embargo, a una dosis alta de 100 ml inhibe la germinación, por último, la dosis 1 ml no muestra efectos positivos respectivamente.O principal objetivo deste trabalho de pesquisa foi avaliar o efeito do ácido pirolânico e a dose ideal para a germinação de melancia, coco e sementes de cacau; o modelo estatístico utilizado foi um projeto completamente aleatório, os fatores em estudo foram: dose de ácido pirolânico obtido de Bambu, Pisonay e Cético (1, 10, 100 ml) e sementes das três espécies mencionadas, trabalhamos com 9 tratamentos e um controle mais três réplicas, as variáveis foram: porcentagem de germinação e dose. Os resultados mostram efeitos significativos do ácido pirolânico na germinação das sementes de cacau, cacau com 96,70% e 100%, entretanto, houve efeitos negativos para as sementes de melancia. Da mesma forma, a aplicação de ácido pirolânico na dose de 10 ml teve os melhores resultados na germinação do cacau e das sementes de cacau com 97% e 90%.
