Sumario:The objective of this research is to present the application of a coaching program to achieve learning in the area of ​​communication, aimed at sixth grade students at the primary level of a Peruvian state educational institution. The methodological approach used is quantitative and quasi-experimental. The sample was made up of 70 students, distributed into two groups: one control and one experimental. As an instrument, the “Test to determine learning in the Communication Area” was used, developed for this study and validated using the Aiken coefficient, with the collaboration of experts. The tests were administered in the pretest and posttest phase, after the intervention to the experimental group. To test the hypothesis, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U statistic was used, suitable for independent samples, with the use of SPSS25 software for statistical analysis. The results obtained indicated that the achievements of the experimental group, which participated in the coaching program, were higher than those of the control group. It is concluded that the application of educational coaching strategies influences the achievement of learning in the area of ​​communication in the sample studied..
