Objective: To determine the environmental factors that are associated with Respiratory Infections in children under 5 years of age who attend the Barranca Hospital. Materials and methods: basic research, with a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 120 children who attend the Barranca hospital and who belong to the jurisdiction of the Barranca province. The survey was used as a technique and as instruments a questionnaire on risk factors: environmental, social, individual. prior informed consent. Results: Children suffer from IRAS when: there is a lack of ventilation in the home (n = 61.3%), when there are dusty areas near the home (n = 54.5%), when exclusive breastfeeding of the child is inadequate (n = 79.6 %), when there is no compliance with the vaccination schedule (n = 62.9%) and when there is overcrowding at home (n = 81.8%). Conclusions: The factors that influence acute respiratory infections in children under 5 years of age as environmental risk factors are poor ventilation and when there are dusty areas near the home, as individual risk factors when exclusive breastfeeding is inadequate and non-compliance of the vaccination schedule and as social risk factors are overcrowding at home.Objetivos: Determinar el riesgo familiar total durante la pandemia por coronavirus en familias que reciben asistencia alimentaria en Carabayllo. Materiales y métodos: El enfoque fue cuantitativo y el diseño descriptivo-transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 336 integrantes de familias que reciben asistencia alimentaria durante la pandemia COVID-19. Se empleó el cuestionario Riesgo Familiar Total (RFT 5:33), que consta de 33 ítems y 5 dimensiones. Resultados: En cuanto al riesgo familiar total, 61,6% (n=207) de las familias tenían un riesgo bajo, seguido de 23,8% (n=80) de familias amenazadas y 14,6% (n=49) de familias con riesgo alto. En cuanto a las dimensiones, en condiciones psicoafectivas, el 87,8% (n=295) fueron familias amenazadas, seguido de 12,2% (n=41) de familias con riesgo alto; en servicios y prácticas de salud, el  81,3% (n=273) eran familias amenazadas, seguido de 18,8% (n=63) de familias con riesgo alto; en condiciones de vivienda y vecindario, un 87,2% (n=293) eran familias amenazadas, seguido de 12,8% (n=43) de familias con riesgo alto; en situación socioeconómica, un 73,8% (n=248) eran familias amenazadas, seguido de 26,2% (n=88) de familias con riesgo alto; finalmente, en manejo de menores, el 87,5% (n=294) eran familias amenazadas, seguido de 12,5% (n=42) de familias con riesgo alto. Conclusiones: En cuanto al riesgo familiar total, predomino las familias con riesgo bajo, seguido de amenazadas y riesgo alto.
