Objective. Describing the economic-digital profile of university students in times of COVID-19. Methods. The research had a quantitative approach of the basic type, observational-descriptive design and level; data were collected through a digital survey to know the variable of study in the students of the University of Huánuco during the period 2020. Results. The study included 10,155 (100 %) students, 58.7 % of whom were female, 81.7 % from the Huánuco campus, 43.4 % of whom were studying between the 5th and 8th cycles, and 25.3 % from the Law and Political Science academic program. Regarding digital resources, 46.8% use a laptop for their class sessions, 51.4% use a mobile Internet connection, 36.1% have normal bandwidth capacity (4M to 10M); 58% are located in the urban area, while 84.9% reported connectivity problems and the same percentage indicated that they use accessories for their classes. Regarding economic resources, the parents of 49.4 % of the students finance their studies, 89.9 % stated that the pandemic affected their economic income and 57.4 % consider that their educational continuity will be affected. Regarding the health situation, 71.7% are not in the group at risk of contracting COVID-19, 63.1% did not use discard tests, 62.3% said that some family member was infected and 9.3% of this group died. Conclusions. There is a complicated scenario for university students due to the presence of COVID-19 regarding digital, economic resources and the health situation that is impacting their professional training. |

Describir el perfil económico-digital de los estudiantes universitarios en tiempos de COVID-19. Métodos. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo del tipo básico, diseño y nivel observacional-descriptivo; se recolectaron datos por intermedio de una encuesta digital para conocer la variable de estudio en los estudiantes de la Universidad de Huánuco durante el periodo 2020. Resultados. Se incluyen a 10 155 (100 %) estudiantes, un 58,7 % del género femenino, el 81,7 % de la sede Huánuco, el 43,4 % cursaba entre el V y el VIII ciclo, el 25,3 % del programa académico de Derecho y Ciencias Políticas. Respecto a los recursos digitales, un 46,8 % usa la laptop para sus sesiones de clase, el 51,4 % hace uso de conexión de Internet móvil, el 36,1 % tiene capacidad de ancho de banda normal (4M a 10M); el 58 % se ubica en la zona urbana, mientras que el 84,9 % manifestó poseer problemas de conectividad y el mismo porcentaje indicó emplear accesorios para sus clases. En cuanto a los recursos económicos, los padres del 49,4 % de los estudiantes financian sus estudios, el 89,9 % manifestó que la pandemia afectó sus ingresos económicos y el 57,4 % considera que su continuidad educativa se verá afectada. En relación a la situación de salud, el 71,7 % no se encuentran en el grupo de riesgo de contraer COVID-19, el 63,1 % no utilizó pruebas de descarte, el 62,3 % manifestó que algún miembro de su familia fue contagiado y de este grupo el 9,3 % falleció. Conclusiónes. Existe un escenario complicado para los estudiantes universitarios debido a la presencia de la COVID-19 respecto a los recursos digitales, económicos y lasituación de salud que está repercutiendo en su formación profesional.Objetivo. Descrever o perfil econômico-digital dos estudantes universitários nos tempos da COVID-19. Métodos. A pesquisa teve uma abordagem quantitativa do tipo básico, design e nível observacional-descritivo; os dados foram coletados através de uma pesquisa digital para conhecer a variável de estudo nos estudantes da Universidade de Huánuco durante o período de 2020. Resultados. Um total de 10 155 (100%) estudantes foi incluído, 58,7% eram mulheres, 81,7% eram do campus de Huánuco, 43,4% estavam estudando entre o 5º e 8º ciclos, 25,3% do programa acadêmico de Direito e Ciência Política. Quanto aos recursos digitais, 46,8% usam um laptop para suas aulas, 51,4% usam uma conexão móvel à Internet, 36,1% têm capacidade de largura de banda normal (4M a 10M); 58% estão localizados na área urbana, enquanto 84,9% relataram problemas de conectividade e a mesma porcentagem indicou que usam acessórios para suas aulas. Em termos de recursos econômicos, 49,4% dos pais dos estudantes financiam seus estudos, 89,9% disseram que a pandemia afetou sua renda e 57,4% consideraram que sua continuidade na educação seria afetada. Em relação à sua situação de saúde, 71,7% não estão no grupo de risco para contratar a COVID-19, 63,1% não utilizaram testes de triagem, 62,3% disseram que um membro de sua família foi infectado e deste grupo, 9,3% morreram. Conclusão.
