Methods: This study followed a quantitative approach and employed a quasiexperimental design. The population consisted of 54 students from the educational institution. A checklist was used to evaluate the pretest and posttest, and Student’s t-test was applied for statistical analysis. Results: Findings indicatedthat in both the experimental and control groups, 19.9% responded “yes” and 80.1% responded “no,” with a difference of 60.2% between the groups. The p-value was 0.000, which is below the statistical significance threshold of 0.05. Additionally, the posttest mean score of the experimental group (16.80) was higher than that of the control group(11.60). Conclusion: The effectiveness of the technological resource Aula Digital (Digital Classroom) in developing the competency “reading various types of texts” in boys and girls was confirmed. Therefore, this study confirms thatimplementing this technological resource significantly improves this competency in children.Objetivo. Comprobar la efectividad del recurso tecnológico Aula Digital en el desarrollo de la competencia “lee diversos tipos de texto” en los niños y niñas del 4° ciclo de la Institución Educativa N.º 32140 Antonio Brack Egg de Ambo (Perú), 2022. Métodos. Fue un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo y se empleó el diseño cuasiexperimental. La población estuvo conformada por 54 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa y se empleó una lista de cotejo para evaluar el pretest y postest, empleándose además la prueba estadística t de Student. Resultados. Se pudo identificar que tanto en el grupo experimental como en el de control respondieron “sí” el 19,9 % y “no” el 80,1 %, con una diferencia entre ambos grupos del 60,2 %. El p-valor fue de 0,000, por lo cual se encuentra por debajo de la mínima signifcancia de error = 0,05; además, la media del postest del GE (16,80) fue mayor que la media del GC (11,60). Conclusión. Se confirma la efectividad del recurso tecnológico Aula Digital en el desarrollo de la competencia “lee diversos tipos de texto” en los niños y niñas, pudiendo por tanto afrmar que la aplicación de este recurso tecnológico mejora de manera signifcativa la competencia “lee diversos tipos de textos” en los niños y niñas.
