description Objective. To determine the effectiveness of nutritional intervention in beneficiaries of soup kitchens in Lima, 2022. Methods. The population consisted of all the benefciaries of the soup kitchens of San Luis. The sample consisted of 110 benefciaries of soup kitchens. Results. The nutritional diagnosis changed positively. Regarding the anthropometric evaluation, the median BMI decreased from 27.95 to 26.04; the MAMC decreased from 30.05 to 28.20 and the PAB decreased from 90.00 to 88.00. In relation to biochemical values, median cholesterol level decreased from 190.20 to 184.10; glucose level decreased from 99.30 to 92.40 and hemoglobin level decreased from 13.30 to 13.20. In relation to bioelectrical impedance, the  percentage of fat decreased from 34.00 to 31.00 and the percentage of water increased from 47.00 to 48.00.The p value = 0.00 was less than 0.05; therefore, the change obtained after the nutritional intervention is significant. With respect to hemoglobin the p value = 0.06 was greater than 0.05; therefore, the change was not significant. Conclusions. The nutritional intervention had a significant effect on nutritional status as defned by anthropometry, biochemical analysis and bioelectrical impedance.

Determinar la efectividad de la intervención nutricional en los beneficiarios de comedores populares de Lima, 2022. Métodos. El estudio fue de tipo aplicativo, diseño experimental específicamente pre-experimental (sin grupo control) y de corte longitudinal. La población estuvo conformada por todos los beneficiarios de los comedores populares de San Luis. La muestra estuvo constituida por 110 beneficiarios de comedores populares. Resultados. El diagnostico nutricional cambió de manera positiva. Con respecto a la evaluación antropométrica, la mediana del IMC disminuyó de 27,95 a 26,04; el CMB disminuyó de 30,05 a 28,20 y el PAB disminuyó de 90,00 a 88,00. En relación a los valores bioquímicos, la mediana del nivel de colesterol disminuyó de 190,20 a 184,10; el nivel de glucosa disminuyó de 99,30 a 92,40 y el nivel de hemoglobina disminuyó de 13,30 a 13,20. En relación a la impedancia bioeléctrica, el porcentaje de grasa disminuyó de 34,00 a 31,00 y el porcentaje de agua aumento de 47,00 a 48,00. El valor de p = 0,00 fue menor de 0,05; por lo tanto, el cambio obtenido después de la intervención nutricional es significativo. Con respecto a la hemoglobina el valor de p = 0,06 fue mayor de 0,05; por ende, el cambio no fue significativo. Conclusiones. Em relação aos valores bioquímicos, o nível médio de colesterol diminuiu de 190,20 para 184,10, o nível de glicose diminuiu de 99,30 para 92,40 e o nível de hemoglobina diminuiu de 13,30 para 13,20. Em relação à impedância bioelétrica, a porcentagem de gordura diminuiu de 34,00 para 31,00 e a porcentagem de água aumentou de 47,00 para 48,00. O p-valor = 0,00 foi inferior a 0,05; portanto, a mudança obtida após a intervenção nutricional é significativa. Para a hemoglobina, o valor p = 0,06 foi maior que 0,05; portanto, a mudança não foi significativa. Conclusões.
