The non-probabilistic sampling method was used, two questionnaires were administered to 85 elementary school teachers. The results were analyzed using ordinary linear regression statistics. To test the research hypotheses, a Nagelkerke R2 of 0.578 was obtained, which explains the variability in the data and identifies the effect of numerical skills on academic performance at 57.8%. A significance, p=0.000 representing that p is less than the significance value of 0.05, which means that the event is significant. It was concluded that digital skills have a significant impact on teaching performance in an elementary school.La educación ha experimentado cambios tremendos, incluido el de proporcionar un proceso dinámico entre profesores y estudiantes. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la incidencia de la competencia digital en el desempeño docente en instituciones educativas del nivel primario. Se asumió el enfoque cuantitativo, siguiendo una investigación de tipo básica, diseño no experimental y nivel transversal de descripción causal. Se empleó el método de muestreo no probabilístico, se administraron dos cuestionarios a 85 profesores de escuela primaria. Los resultados se analizaron mediante estadística de regresión lineal ordinaria. Para probar las hipótesis de la investigación se obtuvo un Nagelkerke R2 de 0,578, lo que explica la variabilidad en los datos e identifica el efecto de las habilidades numéricas en el rendimiento académico en un 57,8%. Una significancia, p=0,000 que representa que p es menor que el valor de significancia de 0,05, lo que significa que el evento es significativo.
