Sumario:The research sought to know if emotional intelligence is related to the work environment in teachers of a Morales school in the period 2020, it was a study of a basic type and non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational approach, 60 teachers of both sexes as a population and as a sample 40 teachers, who answered two questionnaires: the BarOn Emotional Inventory to measure emotional intelligence and the CL-SPC Scale of Sonia Palma to measure the work environment. The results showed us that there is a low positive correlation with a value of Rho = 0.392 and a significance of 0.012, thus enabling us to accept the hypothesis raised regarding the existence of a correlation between the variables studied.
