En el contexto de una investigación sobre la innovación educativa y los usos y representaciones del cuerpo con técnicas corporales vinculadas al ritmo afrobrasileño (maculelê), el objetivo de este trabajo es presentar algunas contribuciones de la práctica de expresiones afrobrasileñas implementadas en el curso de Formación Integral «Expresión corporal con el ritmo» / «Laboratorio cuerpo performático», que tiene como misióndesarrollar las competencias genéricas declaradas por el Modelo Educativo de la Universidad del Bío-Bío.Además, daremos cuenta del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de contenidos conceptuales como coordinación tiempo-espacio, percepción corporal, lenguaje y memoria corporal, y trabajo en equipo, atendiendo al cuerpo pospandémico.Higher education institutions  worldwide,  particularly  oriented  for  teacher  training,  have  invested  on  educatio-nal innovation for the impact it brings to the educational system.
