This article examines these contributions analyzing the social and ideological context of that age.Este breve escrito es sobre Isaac Alzamora (1850-1930) y Pedro Labarthe (1855-1905), dos educadores peruanos que aportaron a la psicología de su país entre 1870 y 1905. Alzamora publicó en 1882 el resumen del curso de psicología que impartía en la Universidad de San Marcos desde 1872. Labarthe sustentó una tesis en matemáticas sobre psicofísica en 1902.
