| Sumario: | Under the motto "Put down new roots for a life in abundance", the II Surandina Social Week was held from April 13 to 16, 1999. The initiative came from the Peruvian Episcopal Conference and reached the South Andean region through Caritas del Perú. The bishops and pastoral agents of the jurisdictions of the area welcomed the invitation as an opportunity to prepare the jubilee celebrations in the spirit of listening, welcoming and dialogue. |
