Romero, like others of his generation, in which intellectuals such as José Carlos Mariátegui, José Antonio Encimas and Luis Valcárcel stood out, marked a current of thought of clear concern for the drama of a country in formation and in constant search for solutions and alternatives.Una mirada retrospectiva en torno a la vida y los escritos del gran pensador peruano y puneño Emilio Romero (1899-1994), cuyo centenario celebramos este último año del siglo y milenio, da la oportunidad de recordar a una de las grandes figuras de uno de los momentos cumbres de la vida intelectual del país y de la región Puno.
