In the Peruvian context, these concepts are also addressed in Legislative Decree No. 822 – Copyright Law, the Penal Code, and by the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo realizar una breve descripción de algunos conceptos básicos relacionados con la propiedad intelectual y derecho de autor   que se encuentran en la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual;  en el caso peruano, en el Decreto Legislativo N° 822 – Ley sobre el Derecho de Autor, en el Código Penal, y en el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (INDECOPI).O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma breve descrição de alguns conceitos básicos relacionados à propriedade intelectual e ao direito autoral, conforme estabelecido pela Organização Mundial da Propriedade Intelectual.
