En 53 pacientes que recibieron la dosis algunos cada 4 meses se produjeron 3 embarazos, lo que demuestra la reversibilidad del mecanismo anticonceptivo. No se observaron efectos secundarios en los primeros 3 meses con la incidencia habitual de anticonceptivos orales, pero disminuyó a 2,9% después de este período de tiempo.
