| Sumario: | The authors have studied the interrelation between toxemia of pregnancy and the nutritional state of the patients; the overall incidence in 2523 women was 16.2% but in patients with subnormal ingestion of proteins the incidence was significantly higher than in women with adequate diet. The possible rol of the maternal nutrition in the etiology of the toxemia of pregnancy is discussed. |
