Hydramnios was present in 56.6% of cases, various anomalies in 20%, and less frequent digestive and skeletal anomalies. Hydramnios occurred in 50.5% of neural axis anomalies. One half of the babies were male and sex was ambiguous in 2 cases. Birth weigth was less than 2500 gram. in 56.7% of cases.Se estudió 30 casos con diagnóstico ecográfico pre-natal de malformaciones congénitas. El 70% de las gestantes tenía entre 25 a 34 años y el 36.7% correspondió a primigestas. Los diagnósticos en su mayoría fueron tardíos. Las anomalías diagnosticadas con mayor frecuencia fueron del eje neural (70.3%) y, entre ellas, la anencefalia (59%). Hubo hidramnios en el 56.6%; malformaciones múltiples en el 20%; menor incidencia de anomalías digestivas y esqueléticas. En el 50.5% de anomalías del eje neural hubo hidramnios. El 50% de los fetos fueron de sexo masculino, hubo 2 casos de sexo indiferenciado.
