A comparative study between the quantification of HCG in 24 hr. Urine collections and the morning sample calculated as an aliquot of one liter of urine did not show differences.La excreción de la gonadotropina coriónica humana (HCG) se ha medido durante el embarazo normal mediante el uso de la técnica de hemaglutinación de ancha y Gemzell. Un total de 553 24 hr. colecciones de orina se obtuvieron de 425 mujeres embarazadas. Los valores medios de HCG presentan una curva bifásica con un pico de 90.000 UI para la semana 10 y 12., disminuyendo luego gradualmente hasta un valor de 30.000 y 21.000 iu en el 20o. y 30a. semanas respectivamente. Un estudio comparativo entre la cuantificación de HCG en 24 horas.
