The guidelines of the Reinforced Peruvian Foreign Policy aim to take advantage of the new African horizon, expanding Peru’s presence in that continent. The present article rehearses a strategy to achieve the formation of a partnership for development together with African nations.A partir de los años noventa, un conjunto de países africanos ha iniciado un proceso de modernización de sus economías, liberalizando su comercio exterior, ampliando su infraestructura y dando pasos hacia la digitalización, lo que ha impulsado el crecimiento sostenido de sus economías. Los lineamientos de la Política Exterior Peruana Reforzada apuntan a aprovechar el nuevo horizonte africano, incrementando la presencia peruana en ese continente.
