Since 2019, New Engineering Contracts (NEC) have been the ones that have had significant use in construction projects in which one of the contracting parties is the Peruvian State. Therefore, the need arises to study financing risk management and its specific regulation in this type of contract. Given the importance of correct financing risk management in a NEC contract, this article will analyze the related duties and obligations, as well as the origin and consequences of the well-known.El uso de contratos estandarizados en la implementación de proyectos de infraestructura pública ha marcado un hito en las políticas de inversión en infraestructura en el Perú. Desde el año 2019, han sido los contratos New Engineering Contract (NEC) los que han tenido un uso relevante en proyectos de construcción en los que una de las partes contractuales es el Estado peruano. A partir de ello, surge la necesidad de estudiar la gestión del riesgo de financiamiento y su regulación específica en este tipo de contratos.
