In this regard, the goal is to analyze the development of industrialization and urbanization phenomena in this association and then examine their relationship with the changes generated in the agricultural production of the area. Based on the concepts of peri-urban space and deagrarianization, this research seeks to contribute to the academic discussion on the deagrarianization process of peri-urban spaces.Este artículo tiene como objetivo discutir uno de los hallazgos de la investigación realizada para mi tesis de licenciatura: el impacto de los procesos de urbanización e industrialización en la producción agrícola periurbana de la asociación Nuevo Horizonte de Carapongo. En ese sentido, se busca analizar el desarrollo de los fenómenos de industrialización y urbanización en dicha asociación para luego examinar su relación con los cambios generados en la producción agrícola de la zona.
