In this scenario, society is organized by and for a subject who is the upper-class white man, a social imaginary whose fragments persist to the present day.El presente artículo está basado en las mujeres peruanas que Flora Tristán conoció durante su viaje al Perú entre 1832 y 1833. Ellas han permanecido en el tiempo en su libro Peregrinaciones de una paria. A través de Joaquina, Manuela, Carmen, Francisca, las rabonas, las limeñas y las otras, se esboza un amplio panorama de diversos entornos de desigualdad y opresión.
