Sumario:The fashion industry in Peru generates considerable income for the country’s economy each year. The COVID-19 pandemic caused an increase of e-commerce in the last three years. For this reason, the purpose of this article is to identify the legal framework under which the rights of fashion consumers are protected within electronic commerce. For this, the international treaties, laws and others will be addressed; the rights of fashion consumers in online shopping; and the most important challenges that virtual fashion stores have, as well as what to do to overcome them, in order to generate greater confidence in fashion consumers.
