The results show that, during the last years, unsatisfactory performance in the Teacher Evaluation has increased, mainly among male teachers and those who teach History. As regards the portfolio, it is the instrument with the lowest average results each year, especially its indicators of curricular emphasis and use of error for learning; the binary logistic regression indicates that the most favorable profile for an adequate performance in this instrument is linked to the female gender, secondary education, and the mathematics subsector. The conclusions discuss the role and usefulness of the portfolio in Teacher Evaluation and educational policy.Este artículo explora los resultados de la Evaluación Docente en Chile durante la última década, especialmente los del portafolio docente y sus subdimensiones. Los resultados muestran que, durante los últimos años, ha incrementado el desempeño insatisfactorio en la evaluación docente, principalmente entre profesores de sexo masculino y que enseñan Historia. En cuanto al portafolio, es el instrumento con los resultados promedio más bajos cada año, especialmente, sus indicadores de énfasis curricular y uso del error para el aprendizaje. La regresión logística binaria indica que el perfil más favorable para un adecuado desempeño en este instrumento se vincula con el sexo femenino, la enseñanza media y el subsector de matemáticas. Las conclusiones discuten el rol y utilidad del portafolio en la Evaluación Docente y la política educativa.Por meio de diversas análises estatísticas, este artigo explora os resultados, por um lado, da Avaliação do Professor durante a última década, e, de outro, os da carteira de ensino. Os achados destacam a quebra do declínio sustentado dos resultados de avaliação insatisfatórios, acentuados principalmente entre professores do sexo masculino que lecionam História. Em relação à carteira, é o instrumento com os menores resultados médios a cada ano, com destaque para os indicadores de ênfase curricular durante as aulas gravadas e uso de erro para aprendizagem na reflexão profissional. Por fim, os resultados da regressão indicam que o perfil mais favorável para o bom desempenho profissional está ligado ao sexo feminino, ao ensino médio e ao subsetor de Matemática.
