This article seeks to analyze the way in which these criminal behaviors appear and are updated in the legislation of Latin America.Con el auge del intervencionismo de Estado en la economía, que se advierte a principios del siglo XX, aparece en algunos Estatutos Penales la sanción a comportamientos que lesionan o ponen en peligro dicha intervención, esto es, los delitos económicos. Esta corriente, que surge en Europa, se extiende a Latinoamérica en la década de los ochenta y es evidente en los códigos penales expedidos a partir de ese momento.
