In this context, he highlights that the training of lawyers cannot be separated from political evaluation, as education implicitly transmits behavioral guidelines with an evaluative background. Furthermore, he criticizes the idea of teaching law as a politically neutral process, asserting that this stance is intentionally conservative and that legal education is, in fact, a means of social control. Following this line of argument, the author contends that traditional legal education, focused on exegesis and formalism, limits lawyers' ability to understand and evaluate the social and political implications of law. In contrast, he suggests reconsidering legal education so that lawyers acquire a realistic and critical understanding of law, recognizing its operational, purposive, flexible, and transitory nature. This would allow for an interpretation more aligned with social goals and the necessary changes in society. In this regard, he emphasizes the importance of considering the political and social implications of law, as well as the need to train jurists capable of interpreting law creatively, valuing means in relation to the ends or goals established in the norms.En este artículo, el autor presenta un análisis sobre la concepción del derecho y la enseñanza jurídica desde una perspectiva crítica, que cuestiona la supuesta neutralidad política en la educación legal. En ese marco, destaca que la formación del abogado no puede separarse de la valoración política, ya que la educación transmite implícitamente pautas de comportamiento con un trasfondo valorativo. Asimismo, critica la idea de enseñar el derecho como un proceso políticamente neutral, afirmando que esta postura es intencionalmente conservadora y que la educación legal es, de hecho, un medio de control social. Siguiendo esa línea argumentativa, el autor sostiene que la enseñanza legal tradicional, centrada en la exégesis y el formalismo, limita la capacidad de los abogados para comprender y valorar las implicaciones sociales y políticas del derecho. En contraposición, sugiere la opción de replantear la enseñanza jurídica para que los abogados adquieran una comprensión realista y crítica del derecho, reconociendo su carácter operativo, finalista, flexible y transitorio, lo que permitiría una interpretación más acorde con las metas sociales y el cambio necesario en la sociedad.
