Finally, the author reflects on the values that should be considered, in his opinion, in the composition of the future political and legal order: equality, solidarity and freedom.En el presente ensayo, el autor reflexiona sobre el denominado “nuevo orden mundial” haciendo referencias al impacto que tuvo lo ocurrido el 11 de septiembre de 2001. El autor plantea que el nuevo orden político y jurídico debe garantizar la dignidad humana y distanciarse de concepciones religiosas que pretendan incorporar posiciones personales sobre el poder, principios o derechos e incidan en las instituciones democráticas. Asimismo, el autor reflexiona sobre la secularización y la importancia de diferenciar la ética pública de la ética privada.
