This thesis is obtained from an immanent analysis of the debate's development.El presente artículo es un balance del debate entre moralidad y eticidad que durante las últimas décadas sirvió de marco conceptual a las controversias de la moral. Se muestra aquí que, pese a los diferentes intentos por hallar una forma de conciliación entre ambos paradigmas, el debate no ha tenido un desenlace positivo. La razón de este fracaso radica en el conflicto de interpretaciones sobre la noción de racionalidad práctica.
