The importance of access to education for the social and labor inclusion of people with disabilities is highlighted, as well as the need for inclusive policies that address the specific barriers they face in the educational system. The challenges in the implementation and compliance of the employment quota for people with disabilities are analyzed, highlighting the lack of complementary regulations, insufficient resources and the need for specialized support services. The role of various state entities and the importance of reforming social protection systems to promote labor inclusion are highlighted. Highlighting the importance of the public sector reinventing itself and committing to including people with disabilities, recognizing that their participation is not only a fundamental right, but also benefits companies and society.El artículo aborda la importancia de la inclusión laboral de las personas con discapacidad en el sector público como un paradigma de responsabilidad social y un mandato estatal para garantizar el desarrollo integral de todos los ciudadanos. Se resalta la importancia del acceso a la educación para la inclusión social y laboral de las personas con discapacidad, así como la necesidad de políticas inclusivas que aborden las barreras específicas que enfrentan en el sistema educativo. Se analizan los desafíos en la implementación y cumplimiento de la cuota de empleo para personas con discapacidad, destacando la falta de normativa complementaria, recursos insuficientes y la necesidad de servicios de apoyo especializados. Se subraya el papel de diversas entidades estatales, así como la importancia de reformar los sistemas de protección social para promover la inclusión laboral.
