The research has a quantitative approach, it is classified as descriptive with a correlational-causal, cross-sectional and non-experimental design. The sample was composed of 15 students of said specialty. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique, employing a questionnaire to evaluate the use of ICT and a test to measure oral communication competence in English. To analyze the relationship between the variables, the Spearman coefficient was applied. As a main conclusion, it was found that there is a statistically significant influence between the pedagogical use of ICT and performance in oral communicative competence in English, with a high correlation of 0.828 and a p-value of 0.00. Likewise, a high correlation of 0.831 was identified between the use of ICT and oral expression, as well as a correlation of 0.816 with oral comprehension of English, both with a p-value of 0.00.Este estudio se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de analizar cómo influye el uso pedagógico de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) en la competencia comunicativa oral del inglés en los estudiantes de la especialidad de inglés de la Facultad de Educación de la UNMSM, durante el periodo 2019-II. La investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, se clasifica como descriptiva con un diseño correlacional-causal, de corte transversal y no experimental. La muestra se compuso de 15 estudiantes de dicha especialidad. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó la encuesta como técnica, empleando un cuestionario para evaluar el uso de las TIC y una prueba para medir la competencia en comunicación oral en inglés. Para analizar la relación entre las variables, se aplicó el coeficiente de Spearman. Como conclusión principal, se encontró que existe una influencia estadísticamente significativa entre el uso pedagógico de las TIC y el desempeño en la competencia comunicativa oral en inglés, con una correlación alta de 0.828 y un p-valor de 0.00.
