The educational model is one that shows the institutional identity, that guarantees a comprehensive education and that shows an important aspect that is sustainability, taken from one of the objectives of sustainable development: Quality education, if our purpose is to be in a scenario of success, then let's start with education (ODS, 2015). The design used in the methodological processes is non-experimental, with a type of applied research and an analytical method. The sample was represented by 120 university teachers, obtaining as a result a value of 0.581 according to the Rho the Spearman correlation. In this way, the null hypothesis is rejected and the postulated hypothesis is accepted.El objetivo del estudio es evaluar la relación que existe entre la difusión del modelo educativo con el nivel de participación de los docentes en la universidad peruana. Hoy, se nos exige contar con aquellos documentos que plasmen la concepción de la formación universitaria y, que correspondan a las estructuras curriculares con idoneidad. El modelo educativo es aquel que muestra la identidad institucional, que garantiza una formación integral y que evidencia un aspecto importante que es la sostenibilidad, tomado de uno de los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible: Educación de calidad, si tenemos como propósito estar en un escenario de éxito, entonces empecemos con la educación (ODS, 2015). El diseño utilizado en los procesos metodológicos es no experimental, con un tipo de investigación aplicada y un método analítico. La muestra la representaron 120 docentes universitarios, obteniendo como resultado un valor de 0.581 según la Correlación Rho de Spearman.
