This process is only effective if, on the one hand, adequate resources are required to meet the goals set by the organization and, on the other, highly evaluated competencies in the managerial or directive staff. The purpose of this work, supported by a systematic review process, has been to collect impartial information regarding the managerial competencies linked to the decision-making process that affect the Public Administration. In this regard, a systematic review has been carried out in PROQUEST, EBSCO, SCIELO databases of scientific articles from the period between 2020 and 2021, in accordance with the provisions of the PRISMA Matrix, considering the following inclusion criteria: Full text in format PDF, originals in Spanish, French, Portuguese or English, expert review, quantitative research, those that were similar to those that dealt with the subject of governance have been excluded. The search was carried out using the equations: “Mangerial competences” and “Public Management” OR “Managerial skills” and “Goverment” OR “Mangerial skills” and “Public Administration”. They included a total of 46 articles. A significant relationship was found between Managerial Competences and Public Administration. La búsqueda se llevó a cabo utilizando las ecuaciones: “Mangerial competences” and “Public Management” OR “Managerial skills” and “Goverment” OR “Mangerial skills” and “Public Administration”, se incluyeron en total 36 artículos.
