The objective of this study was to know the perception of harassment and sexual harassment of the students of a public university in Huancavelica, Peru. The study corresponds to a basic investigation with a non-experimental design and of a descriptive nature. The population was made up of 3603 students of 19 professional careers enrolled in the year 2021, from which a probabilistic sample was extracted. The instrument "Relations that violate the rights of people" by Bardales and Ortiz (2012) adapted to the Huancavelican reality was used. It was identified that 28% of university students have suffered harassment or sexual harassment, mostly women, mostly they have suffered demands for sexual relations and offensive comments, the aggression has been received by strangers and in public spaces. It was also found that the analyzed university complies by providing prior information on the actions to be taken in the face of this type of behavior, however, in careers related to engineering there is greater patriarchal thinking. These results, products of the study at this university, constitute a cut-off point in the broad study of gender violence in the Peruvian university system, a study in particular, and a setting on the academic stage of the university reality. |

El estudio corresponde a una investigación básica con diseño no experimental y de carácter descriptivo. La población estuvo compuesta por 3603 estudiantes de 19 carreras profesionales matriculados en el año 2021, de los que se extrajo una muestra probabilística. Se empleó el instrumento “Relaciones que vulneran los derechos de las personas” de Bardales y Ortiz (2012) adaptado a la realidad huancavelicana. Se identificó que un 28% de estudiantes universitarios ha sufrido acosos u hostigamientos sexuales, en su mayoría mujeres, mayormente han sufrido demandas de relaciones sexuales y comentarios ofensivos, la agresión ha sido recibida por personas extrañas y en espacios públicos. Se halló también que la universidad analizada cumple al brindar información previa sobre las acciones es a tomar ante este tipo de conductas, sin embargo, en carreras relacionadas con la ingeniería se presenta un mayor pensamiento patriarcal. Estos resultados, productos del estudio en esta universidad constituyen un punto de corte en el amplio estudio de la violencia de género en el sistema universitario peruano en particular, y una puesta en el escenario académico de la realidad universitaria.O objetivo deste estudo foi conhecer a percepção de assédio e assédio sexual dos alunos de uma universidade pública em Huancavelica, Peru. O estudo corresponde a uma investigação de base com um desenho não experimental e de natureza descritiva. A população foi composta por 3603 alunos de 19 carreiras profissionais matriculados no ano de 2021, da qual foi extraída uma amostra probabilística. Foi utilizado o instrumento "Relações que violam os direitos das pessoas" de Bardales e Ortiz (2012) adaptado à realidade huancavelicana. Identificou-se que 28% dos universitários já sofreram assédio ou assédio sexual, em sua maioria mulheres, em sua maioria sofreram cobranças de relações sexuais e comentários ofensivos, as agressões foram recebidas por estranhos e em espaços públicos. Constatou-se também que a universidade analisada cumpre ao fornecer informações prévias sobre as ações a serem tomadas diante desse tipo de comportamento, porém, nas carreiras relacionadas à engenharia há maior pensamento patriarcal.
