The research developed addressed the subject of political subjectivity in higher education, in the light of qualitative epistemology and grounded theory. As part of its objectives, it was proposed to investigate the teaching subjectivity, complementing the analysis from different angles. One of the results was to recognize the potential of autobiography as a method of inquiry of teaching subjectivity, which allows the understanding of the different positions that the subject makes around controversial issues, disciplinary content, and particularly, on politics. It was concluded that analyzing what students, teachers and researchers produce, allow the emergence and detachment of reflections on oneself as strategies for meaningful learning and the permanent renewal of new subjective senses.Investigar la subjetividad del docente de educación superior nos permite develar la compleja red de relaciones que se entrelazan en estos espacios de conocimiento, identificar las diversas formas en las que los estudiantes aprenden un determinado marco conceptual y reconocer las estrategias adecuadas para proponer un diagnóstico innovador que contribuya a una mejora real de los procesos de reflexión en los alumnos. La investigación desarrollada abordó el tema de la subjetividad política en la educación superior, a la luz de la epistemología cualitativa y la teoría fundamentada. Como parte de sus objetivos se planteó indagar en la subjetividad docente, complementando el análisis desde diferentes ángulos. Uno de los resultados fue reconocer la potencialidad de la autobiografía como método de indagación de la subjetividad docente, la que posibilita la comprensión de los distintos posicionamientos que hace el sujeto en torno a temas controversiales, contenidos disciplinares, y particularmente, sobre la política.
