description Psychopedagogical strategies are crucial for enhancing linguistic progress in students, promoting communicative skills, and overcoming difficulties. The article aims to develop a psychopedagogical strategy to improve language development in students at the Portoviejo Educational Unit who have been affected by domestic violence. The methodology employed is a mixed-method, descriptive, non-experimental approach. The theoretical methods used were analytical, inductive-deductive, while the techniques included surveys of teachers, language development assessment tests using the Instrument for School Age (IDTEL), as well as interviews with experts. The intentional population and sample consisted of 7 students aged 6 to 9 affected by domestic violence, 12 teachers from these educational levels, and 3 experts knowledgeable about the topic. The results highlight the difficulties experienced by students affected by domestic violence in their language development and usage. 61% exhibit low levels in morphosyntactic aspects, 69% in pragmatic aspects, 51% in phonological aspects, and 52% in semantic aspects. The article concludes with the design of a psychopedagogical strategy aimed at improving language development in students affected by domestic violence through activities that promote confidence, self-esteem, listening comprehension, expression, and literacy skills. This strategy was validated by experts in the field, endorsing its viability and the importance of addressing the linguistic difficulties of these students.

El artículo plantea como finalidad desarrollar una estrategia psicopedagógica para mejorar el desarrollo del lenguaje en estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Portoviejo que han sido afectados por la violencia intrafamiliar. La metodología empleada es de enfoque mixto, tipo descriptiva, no experimental, en cuanto a los métodos teóricos utilizados fueron el analítico, inductivo-deductivo, las técnicas fueron la encuesta a docentes, test de evaluación del desarrollo del lenguaje mediante el instrumento para edad escolar (IDTEL), además de la entrevista a expertos, con una población y muestra intencional de 7 estudiantes entre 6 a 9 años afectados por violencia intrafamiliar, 12 docente de estos niveles de la unidad educativa y 3 expertos conocedores del tema. Los resultados evidencian las dificultades que experimentan los estudiantes afectados por violencia intrafamiliar en su desarrollo y uso del lenguaje. El 61% muestra niveles bajos en el aspecto morfosintáctico, el 69% en el pragmático, el 51% en el fonológico y el 52% en el semántico. O artigo tem como objetivo desenvolver uma estratégia psicopedagógica para melhorar o desenvolvimento da linguagem em estudantes da Unidade Educacional de Portoviejo que foram afetados pela violência doméstica. A metodologia utilizada é de abordagem mista, descritiva e não experimental. Os métodos teóricos utilizados foram analíticos, indutivos-dedutivos, enquanto as técnicas incluíram pesquisas com professores, testes de avaliação do desenvolvimento da linguagem usando o Instrumento para Idade Escolar (IDTEL), além de entrevistas com especialistas. A população e a amostra intencionais consistiram em 7 alunos com idades entre 6 e 9 anos afetados pela violência doméstica, 12 professores desses níveis educacionais e 3 especialistas conhecedores do tema. Os resultados destacam as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos alunos afetados pela violência doméstica em seu desenvolvimento e uso da linguagem. 61% exibem baixos níveis em aspectos morfossintáticos, 69% em aspectos pragmáticos, 51% em aspectos fonológicos e 52% em aspectos semânticos. O artigo conclui com o desenho de uma estratégia psicopedagógica destinada a melhorar o desenvolvimento da linguagem em alunos afetados pela violência doméstica por meio de atividades que promovem confiança, autoestima, compreensão auditiva, expressão e habilidades de alfabetização.
