Descripción
Sumario:The COVID-19 pandemic forced educational programs to adapt to the virtual environment due to the quarantine and social distancing measures, as well as the limitations in hospital centers for clinical practice. Most medical schools and departments were not prepared to face this challenge at the undergraduate level. Many professors, except those who worked at the postgraduate level and used virtual media, lacked experience in using virtual teaching strategies since institutional educational processes were not designed to be developed in this environment and students also had difficulty adapting to these sudden changes (1).
