The present article aims to summarize the main authors who cooperated with the description and classification of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.Años atrás diferentes autores han realizado aportes sobre el Síndrome de Ehlers Danlos, los aportes iniciales comenzaron en la antigua Grecia aproximadamente 400 a.C. durante ese período Hipócrates registró que los nómadas escitas presentaban articulaciones laxas y presentaban varias cicatrices. Luego en el año 1682 el cirujano de Amsterdam Job Von Meekeren realizó la primera descripción sobre este síndrome. Se manifiesta que a través del tiempo, la definición y la clasificación del síndrome han ido evolucionando hasta convertirse en una entidad diagnóstica.
