We present an illustrative case here and review some topics related to this pathology's approach, which requires synergy between psychiatry and other medical specialties.La Parasitosis Delirante es un trastorno psiquiátrico infrecuente en el que los pacientes afectados sufren la convicción de hallarse dérmicamente infestados pese a la evidencia médica contraria. Estos pacientes usualmente consultan a médicos especialistas en dermatología o infectología y su adherencia al abordaje y tratamiento psiquiátrico es precaria.
