In this sense, in the present work we propose to perform a critical review of the work of Juan Gonzalo Rose and the rhetorical analysis of two of his poems: "Return-circle" and "Convalescence".Aunque no haya logrado la fama internacional de otros autores, Juan Gonzalo Rose (1928- 1983) es considerado como uno de los escritores más importantes de las letras peruanas por la sensibilidad que desarrolla en su obra y la variada temática que presenta.
