| Sumario: | In this article, the «Yomismo» will be analyzed in four visual poems belonging to Química del espíritu (1923) by Alberto Hidalgo. It is proposed that in the collection of poems there is a search and attempt to discover the essence of «being», so the visual poem would be a great pictorial strategy that allows representing disappointment and frustration at the impossibility of understanding the state of man. Therefore, the notion of «Yomismo», proposed by Manuel Pantigoso, will be used. |
