This article aims to identify and analyze the meta-poetic thoughts expressed in Casa nuestra (1965) by Marco Martos. For this purpose, a corpus of poems will be interpreted through the methodological tools proposed by Stefano Arduini regarding figurative fields, as well as the categories regarding rhetoric and argumentation proposed by Chaïm Perelman, the concept of ethos proposed by Ruth Amossy and the concept of style proposed by García-Bedoya. Thus, it will be shown that the selected corpus presents a consistent speaker who poetizes his intimate and personal thoughts about his job as a poet, his motivations, his relationship with the collective and the external expectations about his poetic work.
