Sumario:“The Part about the Crimes”, one of the five sections of Roberto Bolaño’s novel 2666, is the pretext to investigate on topics such as doubt and certainty, hand and industrial mechanization, corpses as real or spectral presences, or corpses as performatic elements, far from mimetic realism and novels of social protest. The specialized criticism only reads horror, fear, abjection, bodies as commodities and savage capitalism in this novel. On the contrary, I propose a reading that attempts to reconstruct a dialogue with the avant-garde and especially with the ready-mades by Marcel Duchamp.
