With gratitude, I try to highlight the achievements and bring to light the weaknesses and what is still pending. This is in line with the ethical code of scientific publications developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). From now on a new editor-in-chief and editorial board is to direct the future development of the journal.El propósito de este editorial es presentar una breve reflexión sobre mi trabajo como director de la Revista de Investigaciones Altoandinas - Journal of High Andean Research, que he dirigido durante casi 10 años. Con gratitud, trato de destacar los logros y sacar a la luz las debilidades y lo que aún está pendiente. Esto se ajusta al código ético de las publicaciones científicas elaborado por el Comité de Ética de las Publicaciones (COPE).
