La investigación consistió en estudiar la manera en que la crisis crediticia que asoló Europa y América en el año 2008 -y la consecuente caída de los mercados de capitales globales-, obligó a los capitales privados a replantear su estrategia de participación en el sistema de compras apalancadas de empresas, figura común en el sistema corporativo europeo. En ese sentido, se resaltan las modificaciones introducidas a la estructura financiera de las compras apalancadas, optando por periodos de tenencia de mediano largo plazo, reducciones en la dimensión de las operaciones, introducción de políticas de reingeniería empresarial y social, posposición de estrategias de salida del mercado, y predilección por bonos garantizados de tipo senior de alto rendimiento. |
